About the founder
Clemens Cichocki is the owner and founder of C2 Baseball.
He discovered baseball during the sport’s grassroots rise in Austria in the 90s. Practicing with the Diving Ducks on a patch of grass with makeshift bases and limited gear, he fell in love with the game despite the challenges. That passion carried him through a 19 year career on the Austrian National Team, European championships, European Cups, a season in the German Bundesliga and a stint in college baseball in the U.S.
As a player, Clemens Cichocki achieved league MVP honors twice, was Playoffs MVP and best pitcher once, led his team to an Austrian championship, and was a key figure in the Vienna Wanderers’ dominant run. His transition to coaching has been equally impactful. He helped the Hard Bulls to advance to Austrias first league as a player coach and manage Austrias U23 Nationalteam at a European Championship and a qualifier. With the Bonn Capitals, he has been instrumental in their three German championships and multiple top-four finishes in the prestigious European Champions Cup.
In his role as bullpen coach and later pitching coach for the German national teams, Clemens has helped the U23 and U18 squads to silver medals at European Championships and the senior team to a fourth-place finish in Europe. He has also coached at many other international tournaments all over the world, where his work with pitchers has been widely recognized. Several of his athletes have gone on to earn Division 1 scholarships, throw beyond 90 mph, and sign professional contracts.
With a master’s degree in sports science and decades of experience, Clemens Cichocki is known for his relentless pursuit of improvement and innovation. In his mulitple coaching roles and as a scout for the Athletics, he continues to shape the future of the game while mentoring players at all levels.

The Story Behind C2Baseball
C2Baseball was born out of a drive to solve problems and bring professional-grade quality to European baseball players. Its founder, Clemens Cichocki, first ventured into the baseball business when he couldn’t find his favorite bat model in local stores. Frustrated by the limited options, Clemens decided to take matters into his own hands. Partnering with D-BAT, he began importing and selling high-quality bats to players across Europe who shared his passion for performance and excellence.
Noticing another gap in the market, Clemens expanded into team apparel. Recognizing the need for baseball-specific functional gear, he began importing raw materials and designing adaptable templates for shirts, shorts, hoodies, and pullovers. By printing the apparel locally, he provided teams with high-performance, customizable options that weren’t previously available.
After selling his first company in 2018, Clemens took a brief step back before reigniting his entrepreneurial spirit a few years later. This time, he launched his own line of batting gloves designed with insight from his years as a player and coach. In addition to batting gloves, C2Baseball now distributes essential pitching training tools like wrist weights, plyo balls, and J-Bands, ensuring players have access to the best resources for improving their game.
