C2-Baseball Hitting Plyoballs are our own spin on contact quality training.
Why heavy hitting plyoballs are changing contact quality training
We explain the differences, use cases, and how to choose between Throwing and Hitting in the Guide to Throwing & Hitting Plyo Balls.
The goal: to consistently get the barrel perfectly behind the ball, so that the full energy of the swing is transferred. Plyoballs provide brutally honest feedback – if the barrel isn’t cleanly behind the ball, the ball spins off the bat like a pizza.
We have found that heavy plyos work best for this. That’s why all our Hitting Plyoballs weigh 350 g.
The higher weight forces you to actively apply pressure to the ball and truly accelerate through it. At the same time, the ball flies significantly shorter distances, making the training perfect for small spaces.
We also deliberately chose the colors: Our plyos are easily visible in the grass and therefore not lost as quickly.
Why two colors? So you can also work on your Swing Decisions.
The advantages at a glance:
- Better Contact Quality
- Better Swing Decisions
- Perfect for training in small spaces
- Promotes accelerating through the ball
- Easily found in the grass
