Heavier balls make it possible to use the full range of motion of the throwing movement even at lower intensities. This supports the warm-up enormously. Weighted baseballs are also used to improve throwing speed (only recommended under professional guidance!). Due to the change in weight, the release point must be perceived much more consciously so that the ball finds its target. This feature can help with control training if the balls are alternated.
